“Cost should not be a barrier to anyone taking part in Scouting and if this is an issue, you can speak to the local Section Leader in confidence”.

Hardship fund

Tamworth District Trustees have agreed that we want to continue to assist young people to enjoy scouting.

Financial assistance is available to those who qualify, not just with uniform, but in taking part in activities/trips which their parents may not be able to afford.

Our Policy and Application Form can be downloaded from the links below. Please note that the Application will need to come from the parent/guardian and be signed off by the Scout Group of which the young person is a member. It will be expected that the Group/Unit will, if at all possible, be making a contribution to assist.
