St George is the patron saint of Scouting and traditionally we celebrate this around the 23rd April each year with a parade and the renewal of the promise each member makes when they join.

Tamworth Scouts are proud to be part of the Tamworth Borough Councils annual celebration of St George in the Castle grounds.

All the groups and units in Tamworth District take part and parade with their flags from Lady Bridge into Market Street and then through the Castle grounds to the lower lawn where the renewal of the promises take place.
